English Language Requirements:

The University of Salford maintains specific English language proficiency requirements for its courses. For undergraduate programs, students generally need an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent, while postgraduate programs may require a higher score of 6.5 or above. Additionally, country-wise English waivers may exist, and applicants are advised to consult the university's official guidelines.   • 1) Pearson PTE: Overall 64 with no less than 59 in any given skill (Online versions of the Pearson Test of English are not accepted)
  • 2) Trinity College London – Integrated Skills in English: ISE II Merit with no less than a pass in any given skill
  • 3) LanguageCert International SELT: Overall 39 on SELT B2 with no less than 33 in any given skill

General Requirements

The following grades are normally required (exam board in brackets): 50% (West Bengal), 55% (ISC, awarded by CISCE), 60% (CBSE), 65% (all other state boards) for undergraduate study.

IELTS Requirments

International applicants will be required to show proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 6.0 (no element below 5.5) is proof of this.
